I use this technical a lot in this document. Set the Columns to a custom value like 200px 1fr I can have a 200px width left column. The same can be achieved in the Flexbox layout, but it requires several settings to avoid the left column getting squeezed down.
This column is 200px in width.
This column takes the rest space.
#2 - Put the log dead center.
Set the Columns to a custom value like 1fr 200px 1fr I can have a 200px width center column.

#3 - To center menu items
Each submenu is 200px in width, center them.
- Set the Columns to repeat(auto-fit, 200px)
- Set the Justify Content to Middle
The best side of this way is to set the 200px width in one go, in flexbox layout, the width has to be set for every submenu.
For your information
Keep the Rows to 1, the default value 1 works for 99% cases, don't change it, unless you know what you are doing.
